GO make friends!

Amicus is a Latin word meaning “friend”. Amicus International Student Exchange is an outgrowth of Young Life, an organization of people around the world who offer their friendship to young people.  By living with American host families for one year, Amicus students learn and grow through friendships, country to country and person to person. These relationships can last a lifetime!

Founded in 1980, Amicus has placed international exchange students from 33 different countries. Because we rely on our trusted network of host families, we are selective in who we accept to our program.

Applications for the 2011-2012 school year need to be in the USA by December 1, 2011.
